Festival Italiano is a not-for-profit community event organised by the Dante Alighieri Society of Auckland, and the largest Italian Festival in New Zealand. The Festival is held yearly in Auckland and includes a Italian Festival Season that generally lasts six weeks, incorporating a variety of events, organised by the Dante Alighieri Society of Auckland and/or by other organisations, businesses and institutions. These events include concerts, exhibitions, talks, restaurants and store specials, and Cinema Italiano Festival. The Festival showcases the best that Italy has to offer in New Zealand: art, music, language and culture, plus design, food, products "Made in Italy" as well as products made by Italians, Italian businesses, tourism and Italian lifestyle. The Festival is held under the patronage of the Italian Embassy. In 2021 the Festival was donated to Newmarket Business Association. The 2021 edition was cancelled due to Covid19, and held again in 2022. The next Festival is programmed for February 2025.

Festival Italiano is a registered Trade Mark (registration number 1040921).
