A short documentary featured on the current affairs programme Seven Sharp (TVNZ) about the Central Interceptor, New Zealand’s largest ever Wastewater Project consisting of close to 20km of tunnels, 19 shafts, a major pump station and substantial wastewater management and network infrastructure works. It will run underground from Grey Lynn to Watercare’s Māngere Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project is run by Ghella Abergeldie and features some of the Italians working at the project, in particular Francesco Saibene, Sandro Aduso and Jonathan Bordogna.

The Central Interceptor project is located in Auckland and is expected to be completed in 2025.
